Welcome to DJ Software Review!

The age of the digital DJ is well and truly upon us. Technology and the prevalence of low cost high performance storage for music means that just about anybody can become a Digital or Virtual DJ. Or can they? To be a great DJ takes finesse, timing, an empathy for the mood of the crowd and the right tools and definletley the best DJ software.

But where to start?  There are so many great DJ software products on the market – its is difficult to know just where to look first.  This site is all about sharing great ideas about how to use DJ Software, the best pro and not so pro DJ software products and whats hot and whats not in the field of DJ mixing software.

Names like Numark, Traktor, Virtual DJ, Cue 5, MixMeister and others will be where we focus our attention.  Of course DJ software is no good on it’s on so we’ll be sure to include articles and advice about DJ equiment, mixdecks and mixing equipment to get you through the most demanding of gigs.  If you you like to have any particular brand focused upon or other elements to be included in DJ Software review – please leave a comment below.

DJ Software – The Categories

DJ Software Review will be broken down into the following categories;

Brands – popular brands as mentioned above Numark, Tracktor, NSP, Ultramixer etc and then we’ll also slice and dice by level of technology and application.  Starting with pro and then working or way down to “hobbyist” DJ software and equipment for those that are just starting out or indeed looking to get their feet wet so to speak in the field of digitial Djing.

This is obviously a work in progress, so please bear with us, whilst we get our act together.

It is out]r hope and vision though that by the end of 2011 we will have established DJ Software Review as a central point of discussion and collaboration for the digi Dj’s of today and tomorrow.
