I’ll Be Short >> The Current Best BeatMaker In My Opinion:
DubTurbo << This beatmaker software is bonkers, especially for the new guys just starting. So far compared to any other beatmaker or small ticket DAW, you get the most bang for your buck for studio quality with this (like by far) without sacrificing actual samples or your master mixdowns.
Only problem? it’s like crack, had me up ’till 4:30 am my first few nights, and my GF got quite pissed so watch your usage!
I’ve used the online only MP3 beatmakers recently too, and I’m sorry but buyer beware, my final output is a one bar mp3 not even looped right, and wtf it’s made from mp3′s… . ummm no, that’s not gonna fly anywhere.
So here’s the stuff I really like about dub turbo:
It uses real samples, like from a real studio with panning at high sample rates not MP3′s < IMPORTANT! I use the keyboard I’m typing on to bang in beats like an MPC, and play melodies like piano keys. It has shortcuts for everything so my mouse use is minimal and my production time is maxed. The layout reminds me of cubase a bit, and it has cool videos that get you used to it quickly.
Why You Shouldn’t Bother With Other Beatmakers For Now:
I used to review quite a few on this site, but I stopped ’cause there’s no point, I’m not even going to bother trying to fool anyone regarding second or third pick, this isn’t comparable at the moment and the others were just there to fill marketing gaps for ads… I’ll explain in a bit but first:
In all my years of making beats on all the popular gear out there, the thang I learned is that if you don’t have really good samples to start wit then your beats will be flat no matter what filters you master them with.
S#iT I’ve put HOURS AND HOURS INTO MASTERING ONE BEAT AND ONE VOCAL just to get the real CD shelf quality you need to make it anywhere in this world. So
always said to myself “Someone should finally just put together a damn sequencer with import functions at 44.1 stereo .wav and let me play with my own sounds on top of having a hot library to begin with”… They have them out there, but they cost a lot and just string you on to more sh!t you need to buy…
It’s not the software most times either, it’s your creativity and knowing how to lay break beats and patterns properly so your urban tunes make sense and bang hard. And so you hit all the frequencies properly in each track with complimentary sounds (good ones).
These guys present their vids on youtube too so you can watch and learn and pause etc. so learning the patterns and styles is easy for you beginners (it’s tricky at first drawing beats on a timeline or hitting your keyboard to a metronome but it’s fun as hell and precise when drawing to 1/16th so your notes kinda snap into place where they should be, like any really good sequencer should do..).
… Or you can double your tempo, and now you have 1/32, which is what I like to do 
lil’ tip for ya, double your temp, and work one bar at a time, make 3 drum tracks overlap with different volumes on each, sounds wicked on DT…. (Use some of the bongo’s but don’t overdo it – sick sick sick!)
Anyway:
At the end of my day, what’s important to me is having a good sequencer first, then being able to bang in beats or draw them in the sequencer easily, same with my melodies, and be able to export at 44.1 stereo .wav too. The rest is rather smoke and mirrors. Because once I have a great beat I export my master and it’s ready, or if I want to take it that extra extra mile, I open it in any .wav editor (yeah even the free ones) )to play with the eq, the effects, the normalizing and the final mastering touches, and voila!! I have another collection of beats ready for artists, background music, movies, rap battles, selling them as combos…….., well you get it.
So Why Not The Free Download BeatMakers?
NOTHING IS FREE BIATCH!!! << Is what the free sites are saying in a polite way.. .. .
. . Basically anything that’s free, is going to be either limited use, you can’t export, can’t use all sounds, or you have to put up with advertising and annoying popups or surveys to continue using the gumpy samples they loaded some free script with just to get eyeballs on banners < I HATE ad based freebies – THEY SUCK BALLS SORRY! If it’s under $50 – just buy the damn thing! You have no idea how much the usual pro gear costs, and once you buy one thing – you’re on your way to spending thousands like I did. Mind you I’m PROUD I DID, just wish I had something like this to start with man, would have saved me serious time and moola.
Ummm – Any Cracked versions of DT BeatMaker Around? Hehe, nowadays they’re all pretty smart and monitor logins as well as local installs with hidden security measures, so even if you do manage to somehow rip it or get a login from somewhere, you stand a good chance of getting in s#it and getting blocked and black listed in the industry.. .
… If you see a free dubturbo beatmaker download site or link anywhere, beware, you’re just downloading an ad, masked as a .exe file, and that right there might also inject who knows what to your machine, so don’t do it – this it’s seriously worth the small money you pay (especially if you got it while the last promo was on – like $29 or something instead of $130, at the time of writing this it was still on – >> CLICK HERE TO GO CHECK IF THE PROMO IS STILL ON, AND IF IT IS, GET ONE TRUST ME >>)
With the dubturbo beatmaker you won’t find a free version or cracked trial anywhere, they were smart with their approach, and I dig it! (they even have buttons on the interface that link right to their site to submit your beats, enter contests, or get more help from the vides, dunno why others don’t step up like this it’s a great way to keep your people making beats exploring PLUS exploding their talents.

PS – Before she kills me.. …Promise me you’ll go look at it at least twice before you buy anything else, and compare the actual features and price points and stuff, your girl might be a bit pissed but nowhere near as pissed as she will be when she finds out you spent hundreds or thousands, or bought absolute crap to keep her up at night 
Respect to women I love you all – and if you can make beats like my girl can den you a queen in my books too, quickest way to a mans heart still, sing to him or make him a beat, or both and he’ll melt – trust.
