ive got the virtual dj home with the controller but every time i go on it it says “youre controller has been detected but it will only work for ten minutes” i find this anoying when i am just starting a gig so i have to use the original software. do you know how to fix this without spending £300. p.s. awsome mixing and songs!!

@crmt007 Well, depends…this simply plugs into your laptop via USB, and as you can see in this, you can do pretty well with just those things! I believe you can use your internal laptop speaker for this, or, since it uses USB it leaves your headphone socket free so you could listen throught that. If you want to get a bit more complicated, especially if going down the techno route, a keyboard could be helpful. Hope that helps, but I’m not exactly ‘pro’!

@TheDJTappy no it comes with virtual dj 3 and it looks crappy so you may want ot upgrade it to one of the newer versions

nice mix! Hercules mp3e2 should come with VDJ (basic or home edition) you do get i think a 10 day trial of VDJ pro. after 10 or so days you can upgrade to pro or carry on using basic/home. Bare in mind pro 7 costs around £250 ish…

nice job mixing and posting a video of it. I also own the MP3 E2 and I mix mainly aggrotech and EBM Electro.
As far as people asking about Virtual DJ, what I did was download a torrent of VJ7 pro. It works perfectly with the mixer and I have had zero problems. Just use bt junkie or pirate bay and u should find it easily.

I have a problem whenever I load a new song into a new deck it pans over and you can only hear it out of one speaker until I click on the Listen (a or b) when the X fader is on that one side…why is that? Get back to me! I have a gig tonight lol
